Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is an actor and comedian well-known for her dry sense of humor. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. After doing improv and sketch comedy in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza made her web series debut by presenting the Jeannie Tate Show. The show continued to grow with her appearances on Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim, in vs. World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born in Wilmington Delaware. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an Irish-English mother. Plaza attended an Catholic girls in 2002 through 2006, then the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. While a student at Wilmington Drama League, Plaza was President of their Student Government. Plaza was paralyzed for a moment in 2004 following having a stroke. She is now fully recovered. Plaza is a performer of improv and sketch comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. Also, she's presented stand-up comedy shows at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza appeared in the role of Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and in the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. On CollegeHumor's Troopers she played the Princess the satirical Sci-Fi character. in 2014, Plaza made her debut on the saxophone for the Cassorla film Bona Fide. She first appeared in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. While she was Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared in the HarmonQuest show HarmonQuest 2016 as Gnome. Also, she portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History and Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. show on television Criminal Minds. She made a triumphant return to her role was during Season 12. In the following year, it was announced that Plaza was to appear on the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
